Overview
Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept was founded durring the late 13th century in fall of the year 1165, by Hèbê vyim Tæ̝Lgraɑgki. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.
Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept is buildings are arranged within a network of premissive gravel streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept's failry decent fortifications are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.
A look around Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scuttling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s all of those things together, or perhaps it's the way these elements combine which makes you worry someone might stab you in a dark ally for your boots. Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept's parks.
Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept.

Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept's natural decorations nor waterways.
Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept's locals despise outsiders. For some “outsiders” may be natives of foreign lands, while others might have a grudge against anyone from outside the community. These locals have an active loathing, and the outsiders allowed to trade or interact with them do so at a heavy disadvantage.
Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is based upon new and innovative technologies of construction and the idea that form should follow function. It was an embrace of minimalism and a rejection of ornament. The style became characterized by an emphasis on volume, asymmetrical compositions, and minimal ornamentation..

A great hole opened up beneath Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept, swallowing large sections of the community. Iyuzeld Slunk-ayept lost 267 people, 395 livestock, and 99 buildings in the disaster. This disaster is often refereed to as The Horror Swallowing.
